The University of Hull Department of Chemistry – Teaching Laboratories
Lab Systems Furniture was involved from the design stage through to the full
commissioning of the project. We designed, manufactured and installed all the
laboratory furniture and related services, including fixed laminated cupboard
and drawers, ceramic, iroko, trespa and epoxy worktops and reagent shelving.
We also installed new and refurbished fume cupboards and large vented safety
chemical cupboards.

the furniture to the recently completed
refurbishment of teaching and research
laboratories in the Department of Chemistry
at the University of Cambridge.We refurbished
the laboratories, prep rooms and write
up areas, combining
Trespa, lino, stainless steel, epoxy
and the original refurbished teak worktops
with
a stunning design of new white laminated cupboards with stainless steel accessories,
to create a working environment that is as durable and functional as it is good
looking.
BASF
Lab Systems Furniture Ltd designed and supplied
laboratory furniture and fume cupboards to the new
Research Centre at BASF, Cramlington, Northumberland.
In addition to the design and supply of the laboratory
furniture we supplied our full mechanical and electrical
installation service, including the supply of bench
mounted fume cupboards, small-scale fume cupboards
and walk-in fume cupboards. Our customer was delighted
with their new modern high specification design
that included Trespa and epoxy worktops complemented
by suspended laminated units.
